Print Products Refund & Return Policy

This Print Products Refund & Return Policy ("Print Policy") governs your purchase of physical printed merchandise ("Print Products") derived from Generations produced by the Song Zero service. It supplements the Terms of Use (in particular §4.6 and §5.6) and the Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Use.
By placing an order for a Print Product, you agree to this Print Policy.
1. Made-to-Order; No Buyer's-Remorse Returns
Print Products are custom, made-to-order goods printed and shipped by a third-party print-on-demand provider. Production begins shortly after your order is placed and your payment is captured. Because each Print Product is produced specifically for your order, we do not accept returns or issue refunds for buyer's remorse, change of preference, color variation within normal printing tolerances, or because the Generation contained AI-generated information that you later disagree with, except where required by applicable law.
This is consistent with the customary treatment of personalized and made-to-order goods under federal and state consumer protection law, including the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule's exception for "made-to-order" products, and equivalent New Jersey consumer-protection guidance.
2. Order Cancellation Window
You may cancel a Print Product order at no charge within 30 minutes of placing the order, provided the order has not yet been transmitted to the print-on-demand provider for production. To cancel within this window, email support@song-zero.app with the order number. After production has begun, the order cannot be canceled and the no-returns rule in §1 applies.
3. Damaged, Defective, or Misprinted Products
We will replace or refund any Print Product that arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the design preview shown at checkout.A "material difference" means a visible printing defect, missing element, wrong size, wrong substrate, or significant color deviation outside normal print tolerances. It does not include subjective preferences about how the design looks in person.
To request a replacement or refund under this section:
- Email
support@song-zero.appwithin 14 days of delivery (as recorded by the carrier's tracking). - Include your order number and at least two clear photographs of the issue (the defect itself and the full product, including any packaging damage).
- Do not discard the product until we confirm whether we need it returned.
If your claim is approved, we will, at our option:
- Reprint and reship the Print Product at no additional cost to you; or
- Refund the purchase price (including original shipping if the product is not usable), processed via Stripe to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
We are not obligated to provide both a replacement and a refund for the same order.
4. Lost or Non-Delivered Shipments
If tracking indicates your shipment is lost, stuck, or marked delivered but not received:
- Lost in transit (no movement for 21+ calendar days for U.S. domestic, 45+ days for international, where offered): contact
support@song-zero.appand we will open a carrier investigation. If the carrier confirms the package is lost, we will reprint and reship at no cost or refund the order at our option. - Marked delivered, not received: contact us within 7 days of the delivery scan. We will help you check with neighbors and the carrier; if the package cannot be located, we will work with the print-on-demand provider on a reshipment, which may require a small reprint fee in cases where the carrier's geolocation confirms delivery.
5. Wrong Shipping Address
You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping name and address at checkout. If a Print Product is returned to the print-on-demand provider as undeliverable due to an address error you provided, we can:
- Reship to a corrected address upon payment of a reshipment fee (equal to the actual shipping cost), or
- Refund the product cost less the original shipping cost and any restocking fee charged by the provider.
We cannot redirect packages once they have been transmitted to the carrier.
6. Sizing, Materials, and Color Tolerances
Print Product dimensions, paper or substrate type, finish, and color profile are disclosed at the point of purchase. Printed colors may vary slightly from on-screen previews because of differences between RGB displays and CMYK printing processes. Such variation is not a defect under §3.
7. Editorial Content Disclaimer
Print Products are independent editorial works produced by Lucid North that reference artist and band names solely for historical and editorial purposes. They are not authorized by, endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with any artist, band, label, or rights-holder depicted.AI-generated content embedded in or derived from your Generation may contain inaccuracies; we do not refund Print Products on the basis of factual disagreement with a Generation's editorial content. If you believe content on a Print Product violates a third-party right, contact our DMCA Designated Agent (Terms of Use §8).
8. Pricing, Taxes, and Shipping
- All prices are in U.S. dollars and exclusive of applicable sales, use, or value-added taxes, which will be calculated at checkout based on your shipping address.
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and are non-refundable except in cases of damaged, defective, or lost shipments under §§3–4.
- We currently ship to United States addresses only. International availability, if introduced, will be disclosed at checkout.
9. Chargebacks
If you have a problem with an order, please contact support@song-zero.app first. Initiating a chargeback without first allowing us to address the issue may result in account suspension and forfeiture of any unused subscription Runs or pay-per-run credits, in addition to our rights under the Terms of Use. We respond to all chargeback inquiries with order records, design previews, production logs, and delivery confirmations.

11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Print Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect, consistent with Terms of Use §15. The version of this Print Policy in effect at the time of your order governs that order.
